Why do we celebrate World Heart Day?

Created by World Heart Federation, World Heart Day informs people around the globe that CVD (Cardiovascular disease), including heart disease and stroke is the world's leading cause of death claiming 17.9 million lives each year therefore highlights the actions that individuals can take to prevent and control CVD.
In 1999 the World Heart Federation (WHF) in leadership with the World Health Organization (WHO), announced the establishment of World Heart Day. The idea for this annual day event was conceived by Antoni BayĆ©s de Luna, president of WHF (1997–99). In the year 1978 the International Society of Cardiology came forward and merged itself with the International Cardiology Federation (founded in 1970) to form the International Society and Federation of Cardiology. This body changed its name in 1998 and renewed name to the World Heart Federation.

What are destroying our heart? We will come to know everything about on this topic, just read it thoroughly.

Value of our heart

Mostly people know that anger is bad for your heart's health, but loneliness and depression affect your heart, too. Volatile emotions like anger and hostility are bad for heart's health but studies have shown that some of the quieter emotions can be just as toxic and damaging. We know that this is not true emotions have as much to do with the heart and body as they do with the brain because emotions mainly hurts the mental health. All above the bodily organs, the heart plays a particularly important role in our emotional experience. The experience of an emotion results from the brain, heart and body acting in a situation where the brain decides what to do now.

The heart can make an independent decision bypassing the cerebral cortex of the brain by thinking on its own or by a sudden decision. With an outstanding electromagnetic field 5,000 times powerful than what the brain is produced and 60 times greater electrical field more than the activities in the brain results in the maintenance of the the heart to pump.

Theme of World Heart Day

In 2020 we are asking people all around the world to be Heart Heroes by making a heart promise to someone they love or care about so that the heart failure a common problem cannot occur. A promise to eat more healthily to increase blood in our body, to get more active physically and say no to smoking. A simple promise for my heart in order to make a mind relax, for your heart, for all our hearts.

To help prevent heart disease, you can:

Eat healthy.
• Get active.
• Stay at a healthy weight.
• Quit smoking and stay away from drugs.
• Control your cholesterol and blood pressure.
• Drink alcohol only in moderation.
• Manage stress.

Governments and non-government organizations celebrate and promote World Heart Day with activities such as fun runs, public talks, concerts, and sporting events and also the World Heart Federation organizes awareness events in more than 100 countries. World Heart Day was founded in 2000 to inform people around the globe that heart disease and stroke are the world’s leading causes of death so we must try to keep our heart as healthy as any other.

Feelings of our heart that we feel

Heart palpitations are the sensation that your heart has skipped a beat or added an extra beat, may also feel like your heart is racing, pounding, or fluttering. You may become overly aware of your heartbeat. This sensation can be felt in the neck, throat, or chest due to the flow of blood starting from this part of the body. Studies show that your brain registers the emotional pain of heartbreak in the same way as physical pain, this is why you might feel like your heartbreak is causing actual physical hurt.
The heart is in a constant two-way dialog with the brain screen seems to be confused and the heart makes us mentally and physically low. Our emotions change the signals the brain sends to the heart and the heart responds in complex ways that's why we say that our heart is not in our control but actually our mind is not in our control.

Destroyer of Heart

Strenuous exercise, not getting enough sleep, or drinking too much caffeine or alcohol can all lead to heart palpitations so smoking tobacco, using illicit drugs such as cocaine, or eating rich or spicy foods which is common in India can also cause the heart to skip a beat.

What are the symptoms of broken heart syndrome?
Angina (sudden, severe chest pain)
• Shortness of breath.
• Arrhythmia (irregular beating of the heart)
• Cardiogenic shock is an inability of the heart to pump enough blood to meet the body's demands.
• Fainting.
• Low blood pressure.
• Heart failure.

Our heart is soft, depends on person to person. Heart can feel broken when the situation may be love failure, father son fight or anything that was unexpected from a person. We can't heal our heart so fast but we can try to control our emotions and move on through it.
