Mirzapur, the first episode of this web series was released on 16 November 2018. The genre was action crime thriller, basically the story revolves around drugs guns and illegal activities. The governance and rule of Mafia Dons those who are increasing the crime in the Purvanchal region of UP (Uttar Pradesh). This received a highly written good reviews with as well as some criticised telling it harmful violent activities involved in the episodes. But somehow how many supported this web series because of clearly depicting the actual society and the real face of Mafia world.

Mirzapur 2, the trailer has been launched on 6th October 2020, and the huge number of audience is involved in making to reach the trailer in the top trending list. The first episode of this second season is term to be released on 25th November 2020. The second season is to have to be said that it has 9 episode just like the first season. We don't know the entire cast of this Mirzapur season 2, but some characters of the first season will be seen in this too with the leading roles as Pankaj Tripathi's role as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu Bhaiya, Shweta Tripathi as Golu Gupta, Divyendu Sharma as Munna Bhaiya, Rasika Dugal as Beena Tripathi, Kulbhushan Kharbanda as Satyanand Tripathi, Harshita Gaur as Dimpy Pandit, Anjum Sharma as Sharad Shukla, Shaji Chaudhary as Maqbool Khan and some of the the cast which was involved in the first season.

The theme of this second season is mainly based on Guddu Bhaiya and Golu's revenge against Munna Bhaiya and his family. Munna Bhaiya killed bablu and sweety in the party publicly somehow Guddu and Golu save their lives and went it away but the revenge is still remaining in their head. Kaleen bhaiya didn't know the exact story Munna created a story and diverted everyone's mind showing the real face of these mafias world that they could never ever stays trustworthy.

• Pankaj Tripathi was in reality quite active in politics and too was part of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He raised his voice against the state government, once stayed in police custody for seven days.
• Shweta Tripathi manages her theatre company All My Tea productions in Mumbai manages both acting and her company.
• Rasika Dugal enrolled in FTII after her graduation for a postgraduate diploma in the field of acting. There, she was taught by Naseeruddin Shah and had many of her contemporaries in the college like actor Sayani Gupta.
• Ali Fazal made his debut in Hollywood with Furious 7z this year itself. Actually, Ali was in a remote location in India when he had to send his audition for the role. He literally climbed a top a hill to get the network to record his audition and that actually earned him the role.

• Pankaj Tripathi, who plays Kaleen bhaiyaa in Mirzapur 2 watched the show for the first time during the lockdown as he was busy earlier.
• Shweta Tripathi from earlier, never wanted to transform her character from a college girl to a revengeful angry girl character. She was rather uneasy when she handled a gun for the first time.

• Divyenndu Sharma character named Munna can be related with real life teenagers, ignoring the dark role of him.

• Ali Fazal said that he missed shooting with Vikrant Massey and Shriya Pilgaonkar, he got emotional and called Vikrant when he shooting at a location they had earlier shot in together.

• The guns used during the shooting of these episodes were real guns. The the sound of the gun was real and the physical training of the characters was strict, this is how this series in popularity among the youngsters.
